The Gecko-RCS pairs the same ceramic carbon fiber handle as the YCS and YCB with a stonewash blade finish — the middle ground between the pearl satin warmth of the YCS and the all-black intent of the YCB. Stonewash against ceramic carbon fiber reads as technical and considered, two materials that share the same precise, engineered quality without one overpowering the other.
Ceramic carbon fiber is not a standard production material. The ceramic surface layer adds hardness beyond what carbon fiber alone provides, gives the woven pattern a visual depth that changes with the angle of light, and has a tactile density in hand that distinguishes it immediately from G10 or standard carbon fiber scales. It holds its finish longer and harder than any polymer composite.
M390 at 60±2 HRC sets the performance ceiling for EDC blade steels. Edge retention significantly outpaces mid-range steels, corrosion resistance is exceptional for daily carry, and the stonewash finish on this blade adds surface protection while keeping the geometry clean and functional. The 3.4'' drop point at 1.3'' width is the proven Gecko geometry — full-size presence, practical in daily use.
