The Seagull-B is the all-black version of the slimmest blade in the Trivisa lineup. Black PVD coating on a 0.6'' wide blade over black micarta handle scales — no contrast, no warm tones, no visual excess. A knife that carries invisibly and performs precisely.
Black PVD is a molecular-level coating harder than the steel beneath it. It adds corrosion resistance, eliminates surface reflectivity completely, and holds its finish through sustained daily use in a way that paint or standard coatings can't. On a slim blade profile like the Seagull's, the finish emphasizes the geometry rather than obscuring it — you see the grind line and the edge clearly because there's nothing else to look at.
Black micarta scales match the blade without competing with it. The material grips reliably in any condition, develops minor surface character with carry, and keeps the weight at 2.71 oz — the same as the green micarta Seagull-G. At 4.26'' closed it carries flat. The 0.6'' blade width means less material overall, which shows both on the scale and in the pocket.
