Same platform as the Skarn-W. Same designer, same geometry, same titanium frame with inside-out CNC-machined scale pattern. The difference is the blade finish — and it changes everything about how the knife reads.
Rose gold PVD is a physical vapor deposition coating applied at the molecular level. It's not paint, not anodizing, not a chemical treatment. The result is a finish that's harder than the steel beneath it, resistant to corrosion and surface wear, and visually warmer than any satin or stonewash finish can achieve. Against titanium handles the contrast is immediate — cold metal frame, warm blade. It's a deliberate pairing.
The modified tanto profile holds its logic regardless of finish: reinforced tip for precision work, long flat edge for general cutting, fuller along the spine to reduce blade mass without affecting rigidity. M390 at 60±2 HRC means the edge stays sharp through extended daily use and sharpens cleanly when needed.
Ceramic ball bearing pivot, crossbar lock, 100 g total. Designed by Fabian Hobbelen with the same philosophy as the W — clean geometry, purposeful details, nothing added without reason. The RG is the version you carry when you want the knife to be noticed.
