The Aubergine-BG is a fixed blade built without compromise. Full tang construction means the steel runs the entire length of the handle — no joint, no weak point, no question about what happens under load. This is the geometry that fixed blades exist to deliver.
The blade is Sandvik 14C28N, a Scandinavian stainless optimized for edge retention and corrosion resistance in equal measure. At 60±2 HRC it sharpens cleanly and stays sharp through extended field use. The stonewash finish does what it's supposed to: breaks up reflections, hides the inevitable surface marks, and looks more purposeful the longer you carry it.
G10 handle scales give you grip in wet or dry conditions without adding bulk. The lanyard hole is drilled through the full tang — it's structural, not decorative. Retention is handled by a black Kydex belt sheath with secure snap fit and ambidextrous mounting.
At 7.87'' overall and 4.1 oz, the Aubergine-BG sits in the range where a fixed blade stops feeling like gear and starts feeling like part of your kit.
