Gecko-BM

The Gecko-BM is the all-black entry point into the Gecko platform — same proven geometry, same ceramic ball bearing pivot, same 3.4'' drop point blade at 1.3'' width, with black stonewash PVD over black micarta scales. It's the version you choose when you want the Gecko to disappear in your pocket and perform without commentary.

Black stonewash PVD combines two surface treatments into one finish. The stonewash process creates a textured, matte base that hides carry marks and surface corrosion. The PVD coating adds a molecular-level hardness layer on top, extending the life of the finish and adding corrosion resistance beyond what the steel provides on its own. The result is a blade finish that looks the same after a year of daily carry as it did on day one — just more character in the texture.

Black micarta handle scales develop their own surface story over time — darker at contact points, slightly warmer in hand than G10, grippy in any condition without aggressive texturing. At 3.4 oz it's the lightest of the full-size Gecko lineup, which makes the BM the most carry-comfortable Gecko at this price point alongside the WG.
