The Gecko-S is the Gecko platform built with no compromises on material. M390 blade, titanium handle, ceramic ball bearing pivot — every component is the best available option for its role, and none of them are here for visual reasons alone.
Titanium handles don't corrode, don't flex, and don't telegraph temperature the way G10 or micarta does. The material is lighter than steel at comparable strength, develops a subtle surface patina with carry, and has a density in hand that reads as quality before you know anything about the spec. Stonewash finish on both blade and handle creates a unified surface language — the knife looks like a single object rather than assembled parts.
M390 at 60±2 HRC is the blade steel that defines the upper tier of EDC performance. Edge retention significantly outpaces 14C28N and N690, corrosion resistance is exceptional, and the stonewash finish adds another layer of surface protection while giving the blade a texture that improves grip on the spine.
